“Tribute to Slank” Held in Bandung

JAKARTA – Bandung has been held a music event to honor the living legend Slank Band by cooperating with many musicians singing their songs last night.

Event which held in Bandung on Thursday (5 / 5) night, at 22:00 enlivened by the band which they named Slanky The Cat is filled by Joe, Mario, Moel (Boys N Roots), Deny Alphin (Da Flava), Bony (Sembilan Band), and Naim (Obifame).

The band also appear feat with Poetra (MyFace), Aroel (Stir), Emi (Play), Adi (Betterman), Baron (Tomatos), Tesar (Indigo), Ronni (The Ringgo), Tria (Eyes) and Jose (J’Brothers).
Enough? Oh, they are not, the committee also presents the appearance of the “Rodeo” and “Tuan Kota”.
Poetra – MyFace vocalist, who is on a row of musicians who participated in this event said, he was very pleased to be appearing and sing the Slank’s songs in front of the Slankers (fans of Slank).
“Essentially who will sing is Kaka ‘Slank’ from Poetra version. Hahaha … I had to look up anyway, so the audience could feel the aura of Slank tonight,” said Poetra to Okezone, Thursday (05/05/2011).
“I’m grateful to be involved here, I’ll sing ‘Bang Bang Tut’ and ‘Orkes Sakit Hati’ featuring the band ‘Slanky The Cat’,” said the singer of “Andai Ku Bisa”.
